Truth and cholesterol

I'm sure the Vytorin debacle will stem government inquiries and, oh yes, lawsuits - but honestly, when is it the FDA's fault for approving these drugs or the doctors' fault for prescribing. Marketers are not doctors, researchers or even ombudsmen. At some point we need to realize in the race to market the latest pill - perhaps pills aren't the answer at all. No one truly understands the vast and unique affect of genetics on how each body responds to illness. Being Thinned - Largest Reducer update

Two weeks in. Nearly 11 pounds off. I'd say it's a good start. Although a stomach virus or parasite might grease the skids a bit. I feel like I'm getting there - although there is a long way to go. I'm currently chasing someone who has already lost twice my amount.

"The Largest Reducer"

I suppose it was inevitable, being that I am overweight, living in a state of overweight people watching TV about how ridiculously fat we all are - I have begun, along with some colleagues, a "contest" to lose massive amounts of weight through non-surgical means. Not that any of us have the heft of your average reality TV sob-story, but we could all afford to lose some. So here we go. My goal - 38 lbs. My wedding day weight. Which I think if everyone is honest, is the best any of us will ever look.

Good luck me.
